The Artois Hound is a scent hound that is a descendant of the blood hound. It a strong breed with a good well constructed and muscular build, allowing it to give a good impression of vitality and strength. The head is large and strong with a medium back lengthwise.
The breed requires a lot of exercise since it's mainly a hunting dog and should be kept in a fenced yard. It's a relatively healthy breed with no known health issues that usually plaque other breeds. |
